We specialize in sheet music for brass instruments--from trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium and tuba solos to brass ensembles, brass bands and concert bands.   We feature a large selection of brass quintet sheet music.  Our catalog contains over 8,000 arrangements by a wide variety of American, Canadian and European composers and arrangers.  We're proud to be the exclusive U.S. distributor for Editions Marc Reift, the largest publisher of such music in Europe. 

The music ranges in difficulty from charts easily playable by students to those recorded by virtuoso performers. All our arrangements are graded for difficulty and include parts and score unless otherwise noted.

Our objective is to provide personalized service to our customers.   If you want to check something about an arrangement before ordering (how high does the 1st part go, is the trombone part written in tenor clef, etc.), feel free to contact us.  If we don't have the work you're looking for, maybe we can help you find it. We have several catalogs from other publishers.  Just ask us--we want to help.

STORE HOURS

Dick Wuopio, the owner, is temporarily working full time as a contract engineer.  Therefore, he's limiting his involvement to responding to musical questions and thinking lofty managerial thoughts.  His daughter, Kirsten Santucci, is responsible for day to day operations.  She's usually in the office from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.   Kirsten's schedule necessarily limits our ability to provide overnight shipping on the days she's not in the office.

RETURN POLICY

We realize it's hard to know what an arrangement's like until you actually play it.  If the music isn't what you're looking for, just return it within 15 days and we'll exchange it or give you credit against future purchases.  Also, for each chart you order, at your request we'll include a free copy of the first page of three additional arrangements of your choosing.   This may help you decide whether you want to order these other charts.

BACKORDERS

If part of your order is backordered, we'll send the music that's in stock and follow with the backordered item when it arrives.  Since we use twice as much material and labor and have to pay postage twice, we charge shipping and handling for both shipments.  At your request we'll be happy to wait and send the complete order with just a single shipping and handling charge.

TO PLACE AN ORDER

Our shopping cart works like most others you see on the web.  A secure shopping cart site takes your information and notifies us that we've received an order.  We then enter our password on the shopping cart site and retrieve the order details.

If you want to use your credit card, we'll need the account number and expiration date.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Novus/Discover Card, American Express and PayPal.  Overseas orders must pay by credit card or PayPal.  It's cheaper and much less trouble for both of us. 

If you want to use PayPal, select CHECK on the shopping cart and note in the Comments section that you're using Pay Pal.  Then go to www.paypal.com and send the amount on the shopping cart to Solid Brass Music at dick@sldbrass.com.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

We'll ship orders within the U.S. by USPS First Class/Priority Mail unless you specify some other method. If you specify UPS, Federal Express or other type of special delivery, or if you live outside North America, we'll add the actual shipping cost to your invoice.  Depending on what type of delivery you specify and where you live, special shipping arrangements will usually cost more than the cost listed on the shopping cart.

 Overseas orders will be sent by Air Mail unless you tell us you want them sent by slow boat.  Overseas air mail charges for large orders may be substantially higher than the cost listed for shipments within North America (for small orders the difference is less.)
